I've been using 39ster's famous dll: "39dll" very frequently, but not frequent enough to memorize what each argument of each function is used for.

Thus, I decided to take advantage of Game Maker 7's extensions feature. However, because of lack of extension making experience, I had no idea how to make 39dll as an extension by including the dll.

i havent tryed it yet but i installed it. 2 things you should add. dll bilt in the extention. and adding a help file or putting the code in this forum cause i cant find any of the code

Problem is, I'm not entirely sure if I know how to correctly include the DLL.

No one seems to be helping me out no matter what I post.

By the way, I won't have help document until I finish making an extension with the DLL built in.

Yes, I've got his permission.

If you based that quote off of your life, you could probably say that you never went to school.

lmfao, im in school... and at least I can create extensions to things that I actually made... but, there is already a 39DLL extension that is better than yours... its made by the_doominator... maybe u should check it out... oh well, l8er

Yeah, I already checked it out. Check the the thread dates though, pal.

yeah pretty much the only reason I made it was because people were complaining about having to have the dll in this topic.

To add an dll to an extension wouldn't you click the "Add Dll" button, and then select the dll you wanted to include?

When you are in extension maker, just click the button labeled DLL in big letters and add 39.dll

i want to use dlls but i dont know what functions the dll contains. Can you name any software which converts dlls to txt help.......

Those would be called decompilers and they are questionably legal. Look through the example files provided by the official 39dll thread to learn how to use it.
