First off, changing resolution = ouch. When viewing your "Coming Soon" projects and it takes me to my browser at that low resolution to see your projects, it actually hurts your other projects since I'm so wierded out by the low resolution. Now, I normally wouldn't nit pick that kind of thing with all the very poor quality games released around here. But your game is so polished and superior that that one resolution mishap really stands out.

You have a very good game here. quality graphics, quality idea and nicely implemented. I played the entire demo (a very nice and big demo) and enjoyed every level and feature. You have a story, power-ups, buncha levels and original gameplay. All good things. The one thing I'd change, is the ability to choose when you go into Hyper Mode. Sometimes you get it when there's only 1 or 2 tiles left, so its just a waste of a great power up. Let the user activate it when he wants once he gets the 5 tile steak.

Great job man.

A very fair critique AlexAr.

You're right about the resolution, the whole thing was kind of a quagmire. If we just left the resolution unchanged, the game looked really bad on some setups, or the other way (the way we chose) when we set the resolution we take a calculated gamble; so far you're the first to bring it up (and rightfully so) but by and large it's gone unnoticed, so I like to think we made the right choice. You're still right though...

As for the hyper mode issue you brought up, we actually tried it the way you mentioned (we assigned activation to the right mouse button) but upon testing, a lot of people simply forgot to activate it. It also would of required more dialogue in the demo, which went agaist the simplicity we strived for in the training and the game itself. It's one of those "exectutive" decisions that not everyone is going to agree on, but that's unavoidable tongue.gif

Luckily, these issues are in the preference kinda catagory, and we're thrilled to hear that you played the full demo and that you think so highly of it! Thank you! You'll be pleased to know that a direct sequel is already in the works, so we'll work on the issues you brought up! Thanks for playing!!
