- Name: AsciiArt Generator.
- Version: 1.4
- Category: Application.
- Description: Small application I made. It converts an image file into AsciiArt like in the example screenshots.
Its simple and easy to use. Additional function is that you can define the characters used in converstion to adjust the output "image".
The results are really nice. Even converted photos look good if prepared well. - File Size: 971 kB.

Nice, I am about to try it out on my own images but the screenshots look good.

Thanks. It really works out nicely for most images. You just sometimes need to prepare the image first before the conversion. Read the "readme" file for details.
Uploaded a new version.
Output text now keeps the aspect ratio of the input image.
Before, a square image wasn't a square shaped text when converted. Now the text will keep the shape of the input image.
I also added a feature to specify the size of the output text in pixels.

Fantastic, I actually clapped when I saw this, and I'm the only one in my house! I'm not sure what'd I'd use this for but I love this, I have no idea how you did it and that's probably part of why I love it so much. Very impressive that the results are actually good quality results. Even using a higly photoshoped photo of myself with rediculous backgrounds and effects, the .txt file came out visible and recognisable. Great job, you just made my night -which isn't that difficult of an achievement since my night is almost entirely made up of browsing the GMC- nonetheless good job
