What it does:
Splits one image..

..into two images - one with the solid colors, and one with the alpha values

The application

The application can transform gifs and pngs, and the output is in bmp

Hopes it is somehow useful

I think it's been done a couple times already, but great job nonetheless.

It would be useful for GM users that use GM7 and under, but GM8s sprite editor has alpha support so alpha masks aren't needed in that situation.

I'm sure it'd be useful for other programs though.
