File type: Executable (.exe)
Recommended resolution: 1024x768
Current version: 1.4

GM069.gif General information
Creating isometric pixel art can be really, really boring. This kept detering me, so, like any good programmer, I wrote an application to help do it for me!

This program is an easy way to create isometric structures; not just buildings, but computers, tanks, vehicles, or anything else you can think of! The simple user interface allows anyone to create great pixel art in minutes, limited only by your own creativity (or mostly by that, anyway).

Press F1 ingame for an explanation of the UI!

Features:
  • Infinite isometric height levels
  • Saving and loading of structures
  • Custom colors
  • Custom transparency
  • Screenshot-taking function
  • Optional onion skinning
  • Smoothed or outlined cubes
  • Powerful functions to duplicate every cube up or remove all top cubes

This is really nice, saw it on the (mmgf forum) topic.
And let me be the next to say 'But I have no use for it'.

But really, its well polished and all.

Real nice! Only thing that bugs me is that you can't really put a texture on the blocks... Also, you could add a grid in the background, you know, to calculate distances more easily.

Edit: Oh and another suggestion, rotating the camera! Like 4 angles, and then be able to take screenshots. That would be awesome!

This is indeed very nifty. I am making a isometric game, and this will make making my own graphics so much easier. Thanks for making it tongue.gif

It be nice to be able to change the shape of the brush from Cube to Triangle/Pyramid or Circle/column. Also being able to select blocks and copy paste em would be nice, still great tool.

Edit: I think I found a bug. When I take a snapshot using your button, it saves. But then when I try to load the file in GameMaker to use as a background it says: Failed to load file. I have to open the snapshot in mspaint, re-save it as png, then it will load in GameMaker.
