HEAD CANDY

Every time I learn a major new function in Game Maker, I make a short, experimental game out of it. This was the result of learning simple surfaces.
In the game, you play as some guy that for an unexplained reason needs to shoot some pretty curves of colour. Doing so makes the room flash up prettily and gives the game a "Windows Media Player visualisation" feeling.
I'll be the first to say the game is more graphics than gameplay, but with experimental games it doesn't matter too much. I'm still pleased with the end result.
The background music is taken from the public domain, and is an old 1930s-1940s track that, though isn't the most fitting music in the word, is still mildly pleasing (to me, atleast).
The game also has online highscores provided, as usual, by Unknown Gamer. The highscore list can be found at http://www.headcandy.co.cc.
