Description:

I created this simple program with one intent: To make a light weight ZIP/TAR Archiver. Well So far I have only implemented the ZIP part, and is really no improvement of the already installed WinZIP on most computers. So this is mainly just a trial run, and I hope to add other formats such as TAR and RAR.

How to Use:

Open Ark - Opens Archive
New Ark - Creates Archive (Archive not Usable until all files are added and Archive Saved)
Save Ark - Saves a newly created and closes a open archive.
File Add - Adds a File to a new Archive
Export - When a file is selected, it exports that one file. When no file is selected, all files are exported.

If possible you should add your own format lol like even if it's just a renamed ZIP extension,
I just think it'd be cool to have something different than .zip and .rar files sitting around xD

Well I actually thought of using one of the many resource dlls out there, or making my own format (I am not sure how easy that would be) and doing just that. But I thought about how useful that would be and decided not to. But if I got enough people saying they would like that, I could easily add it in.
