Game description:

As a young boy named Max goes on an adventure through his own mind. As you control him and his friends, in a platform/puzzle/adventure game. This 1 level beta demo has no SFX at the moment but sound will play a big role in the final version, as because its in Max's mind the sounds could be anything. In the final version there will be 6 Levels all with 6-8 stages and with different styles of gameplay throughout.

The game wasn't too bad, but it could use some reprogramming in some areas. Also, sometimes it seemed annoyingly hard. The mouse part was hard because you'd get hit by rocks you couldn't see. Also, you can't move without jumping basically when playing as the kid. I think you should fix that. I did like the monster guy at the end though.

The first level area was very pretty. Graphically, the game was good, but it didn't look as good when the game zoomed in more for the mouse. Also, try using alpha channels (sprite_set_alpha_from_sprite()). That will make the things look a lot smoother.

yeh the points you talk about should all be getting fixed, plus the sprite's will too get fixed with the added alpha files am working on. Just finishing level 2 at moment and as long as it all works, I will come back to the probs in this version thanks for you feedback glad you like it

This game is okay. I really like the graphics, but the gameplay is dissapointing. It would be better if you didn't have it so that I always have to jump to move around.
