This was a very difficult choice for me... I highly respect both developers, and both games were absolutely excellent. However, Gore gets my vote simply because of the difficulty level for Goo. I tried probably about 50 times on a certain, early level before giving up. Even with the skips, I knew that the levels get even more difficult, and a chance of me getting much farther was very low.

But bravo to both games, very well made and both very fun. I only wish I could enjoy Goo to more of an extent.

I didn't find much in Goo to hold my interest. I'm not really a big fan of puzzle games like that though, but I found Gore to be much more engaging.
TD Games
The only thing which I dislike in Gore is it not having a very proper menu, it has no title or "made by chaz13" label. Other than that little nit-pick, the game is very good. My vote is for Gore. smile.gif
wiiowner
I voted for goo, for it's addictiveness and the amount of levels.
Scale18
I voted for Crazy Over Goo. I just couldnt stop playing it...I wish it would of had more levels though.

Gore, Goo was boring.

Wow really? Goo was really boring, can't believe so many are picking that over Gore. Crazy people sad.gif.

That's your opinion. I on the other hand, thought Gore was very, very boring. I'm not gonna call you crazy for thinking otherwise, though. tongue.gif

Goo gets my vote..

Both games could have used some more polish in some areas, but both were really fun to play. COG got my vote 'cause it had a lot of varied gameplay, plus I'm not really a fan of shooters (although Gore was one of the best I've played on the site). smile.gif

One more for Gore! Not only it is one of those rare examples of a game that looks polished from top to bottom, but it's also furiously fun to play.

Sorry, but no Goo, however Crazy it is, can match a fistful of Gore!! cool.gif

I voted that goo game, it was so awesome. Too bad I played the Instant Play version, so I don't get to keep my save. (I even got EVERYTHING for the Level Editor, It sucked. I worked hard for that.)

gore has an advantage being the only more than half decent zombie/creature shooter to be finished (if you search 'zombie' in the shooter or arcade subforums, youll get about 30 half baked games)

however, i chose goo for originality.
i am a total zombiehead believe me, but ive seen too many simple stand-shoot-and-buy-games like gore to let it have my vote.
Vizorslash
Wow, Gore's getting flogged! I voted for Gore because it was fun and wasn't hard to control. Goo wasn't much fun for me so I voted for Gore. I'm very suprised that Gore is getting beaten though, I would've thought that more people would enjoy Gore over Goo becasue even though their both kinda repetitive (especially Goo) that people would enjoy Gore more because it had better game play.

It seems very unlikely Gore will win, so I guess I'll start my losing speech wink1.gif

Thanks everyone for voting for and supporting Gore, and supporting me too. I was really happy to be chosen to take part in the Cage Match, and even happier I won the first one (which I couldn't have done without your votes!). Goo is a fantastic game and I'm really not surprised it is beating Gore. I am currently working on a Gore 2, so I suppose you should keep an eye out in the Wip section smile.gif

Thanks,
Chaz

Heh, yeah it was tough competition. I vote for goo, but I think gore is a great addition to the 1 room zombie fest genre. I just never liked the genre is all :/ But don't give up, Gore might get a recount and win biggrin.gif

I'd like to take this moment and say that I, too, enjoyed Gore and thought it was a very polished, respectable game. Congratulations, chaz, and good luck on all your future projects!

Just a note to say that the 199th Cage Match may not start until late in the weekend (again). I'm currently renovating my house and have little time go online since my main computer is packed away for now.

My apologies in advance.
