Hey there guys ive been working on this game alone for 8 months and with lots of help with guys from the GMC. Its a big RPG game where you can select from 3 different classes Warrior, Hunter and Mage. All of these classes have 2 different skill trees. Depending on what you want the class to do more of depends on what you like more

. There are lots of different areas and lots of different monsters to fight. The story is in the game so i wont tell you it here

. The game also has a random weather effect. Press enter at the title screen

sry forgot to put that in game.
If you find any erros please message me or post them here.
I hope you enjoy it.

The YoYoGames' page's screenshots look very nice, shame they can't be on here too! Try to include them and you'll get a whole lot more people. Looks good, I shall try it when I get a bit more time (seems to be something you need to sit down and get stuck into).

Bunch of ripped graphics that don't fit together. Horrible.

Well you have obviously put a lot of effort into this game, very well done mate, its a LOT better polished then i expected, i love the little HP/EXP/MP orbs. And i really like how you gave each monster its own Health Bar, a nice little touch that most people don't think of.
Also, ignore everyone that whines about you using someone elses graphics, they do their job fine, them people are idiots, you get a lot of them on the GMC, key is to ignore them.
If you had released this in the Work in Progress section i could of helped you with graphics, but this is now supposed to be a 100% finished project which you are no longer working on...

@Darryl
no, he shouldn't ignore people that tell him that using RPGmaker sprites is a bad idea, bc it is a bad idea.
Most of the poeple won't try his game bc of those sprites :/ they look like crap and a lot of people are using them in useless projects.
@Scorpion
The game is good, either find someone who will make some nice gfx for you or just make them yourself. Anybody can make pretty decent gfx it just takes some time and care. You don't have to be talented, it's all about hard work.

I wasn't telling him to ignore people that give him good honest feed-back, i was telling him to ignore idiots who pop up, say "gfx crap" and disappear, because that's just a totally useless post.

Is useless feed-back, all he knows from that is that he should of made his own graphics, hes done a fairly good job on this and its obvious hes much more of a designer then an Artist or a Programmer, so he needs feed-back on his design, feed-back on graphics and code is just a bonus. And he sure as hell don't deserve "Horrible" slapped on his work with no explanation.
However

IS feed-back, he now knows that is game is good, but he needs new graphics, and instead of just saying bad and horrible you gave encouragement to make his own, a lot more helpful post.

guys it ok. the game tock me 8 months all of my own and i did rush the graphics. i know they arent the best but to be honest i was stuck more in the game play and functios. If you dont like the look of the game (graphics i do apologize), but what does everyone say. You can only learn from your mistakes

Well I like the effort put into this!
I feel your pain when it comes to creating gfx... I myself can not make a decent sprite if my life depended on it at this point heh.
THOUGH it is not right to rip others gfx I will in your defense just say that some people (like myself) enjoy every aspect of game creation BUT the art side and instead of making fun of the guy for using sprites that are not his why not point him in the direction of a site that has "public domain" sprites (I do not know of one or else I would help ya out buddy)
But I will give you a pat on the back for the effort.

Actually, he can't sell it online [legally].
I played it, and was a bit disappointed. This game has potential, but it still needs a bit more work. A tutorial would be a nice addition. The controls were okay, but they felt a bit off (might just be because I'm not used to this tiny little keyboard, not sure). Graphics weren't your's, but they did what they needed to and got the point across.
All in all, decent game, but it could be better.
2.5/5 stars.

The sprites [and music (not sure, speakers aren't working)] were ripped from other games and are the legal property of the creator. Potions from World of Warcraft, sprites from RPG Maker (not sure about the legality of using those), etc. They probably wouldn't do anything to him unless he made a large chunk of money, but that's besides the point. Selling something made with resources you don't have permission to use is illegal (in the USA, don't know much about any other country).

I sort of liked it, I wanted to play it, but it's not really playable (which is the worst thing you can do).
First I was fighting the red slime, then I was mysteriously teleported to some king's throne room. All he would say to me was "Go see the blacksmith as soon as possible." What the heck??
Then when I tried to go out of the town (I couldn't find a blacksmith in town) I was killed by giant dark slime and his miniature super-strong slime buddies. (did I mention I was a level 1 mage at this point?)
Very poorly designed.

I tend not to play games that have sprites ripped from multiple other games. It looks like some gui from something that looked like WoW, and the houses and trees from aLttp.

first i wanted to say if you dont like his sprite make some for him...
just becoz the game has ripped sprites doesnt mean it sux.(give it a chance)
also wanted to add its an ok game but the loading time is crazy long(might want to untick th preload button on some sprites and sounds)
the only downfall i seen of this game was the controls it was very awkward to select a spell with the mouse button and right click to cast it an to do a normal attack reach over and press space other than that and the fact the attacking felt a little like i got hit every time i attacked something, it was pretty good.
(i suggest make left click attack)
i give this at least an 8/10
*-1 for the long load time when game is started.
*-1 for the attacking.

Pretty fun game. I didn't really mind the graphics because they seemed to fit together all right.
I liked the dark mage battle, good job on that. I accidentally exited so I didn't really play much more.

Made a GMC account to say that i enjoyed your game(I don't mind ripped graphics, they're needed if you can't make your own, your selection fitting together nicely i thought), and was- apart from a few concepts - was a close cousin of what i've been designing in my head for a while now. Good game.

The game has potential and is pretty cool, the ripped GFXs do really give the game a low mark. Although Graphics aren't the most important, when they are ripped from very popular games they become distracting and sucks the good points from the rest of it.
I can understand your problem, since i too am not a graphic designer, but i understand the the importance of themes and styles. You can look at any shot of one of the old Zelda games and know instantly it's Zelda, you can look at any screenshot from Warcraft, whether it's the RTS or RPG and know instantly it's Warcraft. Your game suffers from an identity crisis and that makes it difficult to connect with it and enjoy it.
Perhaps i'm being highly critical, but you can see the hard work that went into this game and it's mostly lost.

Hey, i liked the game a lot. Had the annoying bug of the slime too but after a restart the second time
worked ok, check it out. The gameplay is great, simple but fun! Riped gfx are ok for me, they suit
fine, but if u will manage to add your own game will be more unique for sure.
If you are planning to upgrade it these are what I'd like to see:
-Add a normal save system, to save whenever user wants, but give an amount of save slots.
-Would love to have some options for my character, add 2-3 char sprites for each class would
be good.
-Music was annoying for me, but anyway this is matter of personal taste, some ppl might liked it.
Anyway, nice work and thx for sharing it!!

Okay, one thing I noticed with the Warrior is that I could just stand behind a fence and when the enemy get close enough, I could still kill them. I'm not sure if anyone else has posted the same, I just didn't feel like going through all of the posts.
