After alot of work it's finally here, the sequel to Madness 4 Lethal Tournaments.
This game is pure multiplayer based; so get yourself a mate, choose some weapons to play with and pick one of the 11 zones.
Now go spammin' your opponent with the most brutal weapons; or choose to be the sneaky man and kill the guy with rifles and knifes.
Yah, it's all there, even chain combo's and other kinds of combo's to achieve (burning combo, musket mortars, ninja style and others)!
There are some extra's to be found and there are all sorts of tricks with the gameplay to spice up the killing!
You can find a readme file which explains all the gameplay tactics and other nifty info, just check it out, it's really helpful. Or just play the tutorial, which will guide you through the basics of Madness Reloaded.

GAME IS RUNNING LAGGY?
-choose a small map
-go to the pause menu while playing and press F10 and F11 or F12 (described there) this will/can greatly improve your FPS rate.
-go to the options menu.
KNOWN BUGS
-some computers with VISTA have a problem with the game (it's lagging terrible), really don't know how to solve this... tips?

I cant be bothered going through all the details,...but nicely done.
I would recommend some sort of online play,...because 2 people on the same keyboard is extremely infuriating. Also you may want to develop a single player 'campaign' or the such like.

very cool, though very laggy, even with all settings off. also, the menu was especially laggy because of the motion blur on the cursor. that just murdered my computer.
the graphics were neat, slightly realistic styled cartoon graphics. they worked well with the gameplay and music. music, which, by the way, was really nice to listen to.

@darkflame if you had read the details you would know that I´m working on a
singleplayer mode and online version 
@ Newly Discovered hm thanks for your support, the game is pretty heavy, but it should run fine, the upcoming update will be faster and somewhat lighter for your pc to handle. if you didn´t know; press F10 and F11 while playing to speed it up a little (interpolation and backgrounds).

Its' pretty cool, but aiming system is terrible. You should also consider sticky keys options when using SHIFT key-it pops it up.

@d.man any selfrespecting gamer would disable sticky keys. and aiming is fine, u just need to get used to it ?
And the game is COOOOOL!
The quality is far above all those mario fan noob games...
Although if it was SP it would have been more popular

yeah it's a bit dumb to NOT disable sticky keys, since it's really frustrating with alot of indie games.
and I really don't understand what is terrible about the aiming system... since it's just working fine.

This is done really nicely Tobias.
Some things that could be improved would be aiming(I think a mouse control scheme would be better. but that may make it tough for multiplayer, so I dunno. maybe I just don't understand it

) and the preview image of the level in level select. But the graphics are really good(like the dark style of the night levels), great particle effects, gun variety, and general atmosphere.
All in all great work on this, Tobias.

thanks man, yeah the quality of the level-select images are pretty blurry, but it saves space (and since the game is already big, and alot of GMC users have crappy internet connections) but about the aiming, I think it's great for platform game which isn't using the mouse to aim with... the recoil etc really spices things up..

When is there a lan multi player coming up? And if its already done why isn't it slightly more prominent in the first post?
I got a low spec xp set up so that i can play low end games like this over lan!

Well the game doesn't work correctly over network/internet yet...
And it has a long way to go, since i'm not that good with online coding.
The only thing I swiftly changed was the 'play online' thing from YOYO games etc... So it is easier for people to play the game without downloading.
by the way, I have a question; what is your FPS rate while playing the game?

This game is really smooth. I haven't been able to test it with another person yet, but from looking around at the basic features, I'd say everything from the graphics to sound is excellent! I hope you get that online mode working!

polished graphics, smooth controls, nice sounds... great game.
considering the quality i think more people should know about this game.
(would be cool when there will be a singleplayer game with this engine...with mouse aiming)

Oh, great news for you people enjoying this game:
There's a
modification coming! based on the madness reloaded engine (it needs madness reloaded to work), called
War Engines: Fresh Conflicts, it will feature more realistic gameplay, no jetpacking, but bootboosting (you can actually kill with your bootboosting, it's like a doublejump with a small explosion beneath the player), fall damage, new weapons and maps and ofcourse new characters. It's based on a pretty old game made by me... called war engines. You can find it @ this forum.
So keep your eyes open for the
upcoming updates!The mod will be added to this topic. I'll let you guys know when it's complete:)

OUCH, stop bumping so much... Game was okay, but I dont like the Movement system something bout it seems... Laggy, tho it could just be my pc skrewing around. uhm but hey its okay, nufin special, I mean if I had to let's say compare it with other games, not going to say what games only a hint, it begins with sol and ends with dat.

lag? gameplay is smooth for me... opinions differ right? the game has a very strange vista 'lag' bug though;
by the way, the game is running at its best on 50 fps. and yeah...
if your battery is running low your laptop performance goes down.

Amazing! Definitely one of the best Game Maker games ever! I loved the maps, the weaponry, the announcer guy, the cool menus, etc.
Your spriting skills are definitely the best I've seen in a nice while, and the creative level design with the portals and everything just made it that much more fun. I would call this game commercial quality, seriously! I just wonder how this game doesn't have more fans, it's such a good game!
Great job, and I can't wait to see more!

oh by the way, you said that the wall-dash thingy isn't useful, well it really is, since you can gain much more speed in an instant. you need to practise a little with it though! (try it, it's really helpful)

the graphics are great. make some bots to fight against. i think i should be able to use the mouse to shoot. do you know what sticky keys are? well, they turn on when i push SHIFT 5 times, another reason to use the mouse. sounds were great. menus were good, i think you should add a NEXT button at the frag menu. i clicked frag area and there wasn't a NEXT button and i got confused and hit enter, lol. the arena selecting menu was good too. the most important thing is to add some AI or Campaign.

Hm yeah I know, thing is; it's pretty hard to get a fully working bot for this game since the game doesn't support slopes. and I'm familiar with the sticky keys, just disable them. they are not needed anyway. this game will not feature mouse aiming; since it is not possibile in multiplayer and it's just something I don't like hehe. anyway update is coming soon, I guess it's taking me one week or so! upcoming update is alot better though!

the game has finally been updated, download to discover all the new stuff!
Madness ReloadedV1.2 is much smoother and better, weapons were tweaked, maps were edited, graphical effects and sounds are better, the tutorial was remade from scratch, and so on

I would like to know which maps should be replaced with new ones,
the maps I already replaced in the upcoming update are:
(the new maps are much better and more fun to play in)
Great Canyon replaced by An Hill Between (NEW)
An Desert Hill replaced by City Dunes (NEW)
now I really want to know which maps I can replace with new ones, else the chance exists that you'll lose your favourite map!
zones that will NOT be replaced are (since these are one of the best):
-Cold night
-2 dimensions
-Base underground
-Desolate sands
if no one replies to this, I probably will remake most of the maps except for those above.
the update also features 2 new weapons and alot of changes! (new areas, zombie challenge)
ideas are welcome and this is thé time to come with ideas. since I have some spare time left to work on madness reloaded!

Make a single player story mode!

I like the game play, but It doesnt have a story mode, and I dont have people to play agiainst here

This game would be cool with a story mode where stealth is needed

agreed, but this is simply too much work and I lack time and motivation to work on this (since I am working on another singleplayer game aswell!).
anyway, I also have some good news.
-
V1.3 is coming along greatly, I don't work on it every day, but I'm really making some progress here!
Things which are already/almost done:
The weapons, there are 3 full new guns to play with (really nice ones too if you'd ask me).
Alot of weapon tweaks and balancing. (new gun graphics too)
A new weapon information menu.
The main menu slightly changed.
More spectacular gfx effects and stuff like that.
Zombie mode is almost finished!
Singleplayer challenge mode is still in early development, but I'm making progress fast!
New music, and 7 full new areas to kick each others butt!
Three new extra's: unlimited flying time, 200% health mode, and a stealth mode. (so there's your stealth huh:P)
and some more small changes!
Ideas are always welcome!
