Ok, first off, I just want to say, that I really like this series. So this criticism (that will follow) is just things that I think you would be interested in.. you still made a great bunch of games, regardless!
(NOTE*, may contain spoilers, if you haven't played the game, don't read)
Okay, first off, the controls. I know, I know, trying to have an 'old school' set up, but seriously, they got VERY annoying. There's a reason that mice were invented, it was because it was such a pain scrolling through tons and tons of text. (I got frustrated, yes)
Second. For me, the longer the game, the more it lost 'it' (for me, anyway). It just started getting a little, tedious? Again, This is mainly because of the controls. (of course the more I got frustrated, the more I hammered 'c' to get through text, meaning sometimes I would accidentally 'repeat' the conversations.)
Possibly my favorite episode was Episode I, even though it was a lot shorter than the others, it's length meant reduced frustration at the keyboard, which me finding what happened out faster. (I'm the kinda guy who, if he likes a book, will read it 3 hours straight, cover to cover).
Third, I hate Coffey Expresso. No questions. I literally HAD to take the headphones off, his slurping was driving me insane. It didn't help I didn't have vital infomation, and was trying to interview him numerous times.... I'm glad he didn't come in Side B at all.
Umm, I think that's all my gripes so, now on to my questions, and queries about the game! (including my praise

)
I really liked Episode I, you did a great job in creating the atmosphere, and hooking me into playing Episode II, III, and IV. I mean, I just really got into the mood, feeling like a washed up drunken detective!

(I love mystery/detective stories! And this is actually my first detective 'game',)
I liked Episode II, probably my favorite of the series, and I believe, the correct length, not to short, nor too long. Bong made me laugh so hard, and I liked the mystery atmosphere you conjured up.
Episode III, wasn't as good as Episode II, although still good. I was beginning to wonder if Spade was 4771!

(Well, my train of thoughts was, 4771 was a expert shot, and also an expert in close hand-to-hand combat. Well, I already knew that Spade had shot his partner, and how many people do you know who can knock out a professional boxer who's weilding a knife? In ONE blow?)
Episode IV was a bit of a downer for me, maybe it was time for me to take a break from the series, but like I said, when I got a good book, I don't like putting it down. Even the 2 day break I had, because of a particularly hard puzzle in IV, didn't help a lot. I confessed, I got stuck and succumbed to the lure of the walkthrough. (I only used it minimally!) Some how I missed that I could go out the fire escape. :/
Also, Bong just seemed to 'lack' what he had in the the other two episodes. I dunno, he seemed a bit lifeless in this version. He made me laugh, though in the other two!
And the 'finally', the big build up, finished in a hiss. I didn't even see the dame, :/ It's sad, that he sold out, and let her go, for Daphne, yet killed his own partner/friend. Spade growing soft?
Oh, last question. That random bit, that Eddie was investigating in Episode IV. (the blown up car, and the slobbering dude). Anyway..
Was the slobbering 'gangsta' dude the dude that came to Rachel's Investment office before, trying to talk to Raquel? Also, did Coffey Espresso blow up that car? (I know he was a demolition expert)
Ok, you might be interested in this, so I'll tell you, that I practically never use 'hints' or walkthroughts, especially in the adventure games. However, the controls were so frustrating, and in Episode IV, the texts seemed a LOT longer than in the previous episodes.. I was despairing to even think of confronting Coffey Espresso, or the Two clown detectives. Their huge 'spouts' just annoyed the heck out of me. Although I soldiered on, just to finish the story I couldn't put down, I just want to let you know I HATE those three (but mainly Coffey)
Yeah, I probably should have taken a break between episodes...
I noticed a few typo's, are you interested if I compile a list? Or are you not going to do any future updates on these current releases. (off the mark, in the beginning of Episode I, he was saying stuff like 'the days I were a good detective' [isn't that 'was'?]) Also, In Episode, umm, III? He said 'safe' instead of 'save' (or maybe it was the other way around.), and also, in the convo with Coffey, it spells his name 'Coffet' in one of the text boxes.
If you want a list, I would happily go through, and write down the episode, and places of the ones I noticed, for ya. (Although those where the three big ones, I noticed)
Anyway, great series, love the graphics, love the story, there were some good puzzles(tasks, whatever), and tedious controls. Good job on this lot!
(you should probably mention some where in the first posts on the GMC, that the games contain strong language, etc. though)

[Oh, and there was a spot in Episode III, in a final confrontations with the 'lawyer', you had to confront him with that random name, which I only JUST remembered. Umm, it was... Timbucktoo? (I had to google the spelling, when I was playing

)
I actually had to rely solely on my memory for that one, which was just as well, because there was nothing in the evidence to suggest it. If I hadn't remember, I would have been stuck

Possibly something you want to fix?]
