THIS IS NOW THE SOLUTION TO THESE KIND OF PROBLEMS

My pour comp was wiped (and I have been using my bro's comp to work on pixel battle BTW but anyway)

I got it back and the person re-installed windows in it and all that BUT when I tried to re-install Gamemaker 7 I went excitedly to go register

This is what I get =(

THE FIX cool.gif

First ensure: (quote from NPT)

* You are using IE 7, (not 8 beta)
* IE 7 is default browser
* Cookies are enabled
* Internet Security is set to Med-high (or lower)
* All software firewalls are disabled
* Java Script is enabled
try it and if that doesn't work do the next thing

then do this:
SUMMARY OF HOW TO FIX SOFTWRAP ISSUES (some):
  1. First: Uninstall Game Maker 7 from your hard drive (see note below before you do)
    WAIT! I think this may delete any games you may have saved in the examples folder (default folder games are saved) so get it out first.
  2. Then: Go to the following directory:C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Softwrap\YOYOGAMESGM70FINAL
    (NOTE: mine was in Shared documents not Documents like it says so check that one)
  3. You will see a file in there. Delete it.
  4. Lastly: Re-install Game Maker 7
  5. if the Image broken sign shows up again right click it and hit show image and it should show up

Yeah, he really needs to keep IE 7 installed, not because I think it's better than Firefox for web browsing (I'm using Firefox right now wink1.gif) but because IE is used as a file browser every now and again.

@Kamen, could you give us your PC's specs?

Well IE is pretty much universal, it comes on all microsoft pc's (Remember the "United States Microsoft antitrust case" afterall?) theres no need for them to code extra just because some idiot got rid of internet explorer.

I fixed it! I've been searching the internet relentlessly and finally just typed in the phrase "fixing gamemaker 7" in google just to see what would happen and here it is:
