Hi Srehpog. I want yo to know that I posted your game in the forums of a spanish-speaking game maker community(they use other programs more often tough).
I just wanted you to know. And I hope YOU dont get mad by this

.
Not at all - thanks very much. You can post it wherever you like - the more exposure, the better.

Awesome game

... I suck though. Is there an easier way to beat that water worm on the water bike thing? It's hard...
If you buy the AWC-400 machinegun upgrade you should have an easier time of it. You'll need the 4-bombs upgrade and the metal ore.

I FOUND A SPELLING ERROR!
when you go into your inventory, and then scroll to the gun sword thing, then hit enter
it says "redcued"
That is ment to be reduced right?
Quite right. Thanks, fixed.

Hi Srehpog, first of all thank you for the game. I haven't downloaded it, but I plan to do so in the near future. I just have a couple of questions here.
1. Do you mean there will be a new version of the game? What is the latest version number? Can we check for the version in the game?
2. If in the future you plan to update the game, for example for bug fixes etc., do you also plan to create a patch or do I have to redownload the whole game again?
3. Where is the most reliable link to the latest version of the game? Is it
http://www.jessetyler.net/ark22.zip ?
4. Can you give me a roughly estimated date on when it will be posted at Reloaded.org?
Thanks in advance.
1. Sorry, I should have said "review", although there will also be a download link. I'll always update all available downloads concurrently so in theory when there are several downloads they'll all be as recent as possible.
2. No, there's no patching system (although these days there
should be no bugs anyway), but there is an alternative zip file which contains only the game .exe, at about 6Mb. Find it
here.
3. That's right.
4. No, not at all. It might be this weekend, or it might be in weeks. I'll let everyone know when it is, though.

Awsome game, but how do you save?
Go to a save station - they're red computer terminals found in most settlements, and occasionally in other places. There aren't any on the ship, though - you have to wait until you get to the first village.
NewsA
slightly new version now (26.7.2006), although the changes aren't terribly important, despite one of them being potentially fatal. Firstly, the credits now contain an extra name.
Secondly, you can no longer lock yourself out of the second dungeon by leaving it at the right time. The reason for this bug is that the game checks to make sure that you haven't been back to the title screen since your last visit to D2 when you enter, and if you have, resets everything, including the statue which blocks the stairs! If you've already opened it it can't be 're'opened, so you get stuck. Now, though, it's fixed.
In other news, Ark's now available
at GameMakerGames.com, too. Not sure if that's important, but there you go.
As ever, thanks for the support and feedback. I'll post something new soon, I promise.
