Well people you should also remember to try the other ones first, if not that wouldn't be a fair vote, one of the reasons rpg maker got more votes might be because the rpg maker users didn't try gamemaker first.

i didn't tried rpg maker first still i vote for GMaker cause you can make every kind of Game with Game Maker.
White RPG maker you only make rpg's but you can make them with game maker...

I have trid RM2K, but I switched over to GM ASAP. I just Googled 'game maker' and the first thing I got was Mark O's amazing program. I never heard of most of the other things though...

I see the list is missing Multimedia Fusion. Will people ever learn?

RPG Maker is a very easy to use program, so its the affiliated language...this is why its popularity has been increasing over the years...
It's not as flexible as Game Maker though....

You have to take into account, that people who reply view the topic at least twice.


I don't know why people are saying its unfair to vote one way or another, it doesn't say which is best, simply- which do you use. Obviously RM2K will will since there are more active members who use RM2K that go to that site than GM users do. It is like if you were to host that same poll on GMG (Game maker games).

But RPG Toolkit has more votes than GM? I just hope it has to do something that it is RPG. And if so, why does everyone make those?

Oo yea, I was taking multiple views into account, but I forgot everybody views it at least 2x. Ok nevermind, but still, Gamemaker may not beat RPG Maker, but at least RPG Toolkit. We need some more votes!
