Edit: Okay moderators, you win. I misspelled "sentence".

The Grammar Nazi Topic!
17 May 2012 - 05:22 PM
Welcome to the Grammar Nazi topic!
In this topic, you must read the post above you and point out it's grammatical/spelling errors. This topic is to promote literacy, and for those of us who die a little bit inside every time we see someone use "Their, There, and They're" wrong. If you find an error, point it out, and what it should be. Then try to cleverly disguise a grammar mistake in your post (Like I did
).
Have fun!
Edit: Language related errors do not count (Eg "Colour" vs "Color")

Hiring A Graphics Artist For Competition06
22 May 2010 - 07:14 PM
Like the title says, I am hiring an artist for competition06.
My team (atm nicknamed "Team Caniac") has me for programming and sounds, and a friend of mine for music)
Since we have no artist yet, we have not yet set a cement gameplay time down. (eg TD, fps, 2.5d, platformer etc)
Pay I am willing to negotiate payment plans, eg:
a set rate of pay that you will get for your work, no matter how we do in the competition
or a percentage of the profits we will get when the game goes on the PSN (cause this game is going to own!)
Or up to 1/3rd of any prizes we win
Please post a few samples of your best art. Pixel, vector, cartoon, realistic, whatever. I will contact the person whos art I like best when there are a few entries, and we can talk about moneh.
I like shiny polished smooth cartoon-like art.

Edit: I would highly prefer it if you would also have a form of communication that you "live" on (like me
) such as MSN.
