Is this too buggy to use? Does it speed up the game any? I heard someone say it only uses one core.
No offense, but if you have these basic questions I don't think you should start using threading in a game.

You must provide a non-installer version. Installers are allowed, as long as a non-installer is ALSO provided.

To be honest, I think I've seen this gameplay engine before on a GM RTS. I think it was called Alliances. The graphics and ships looked a lot the same. Anywyas, I believe this has more features with it, so good job! Pity the download is taken down. Why don't you get another host?

@Headinjury, yup that's in the works.
@Dylan - Yes, of course that's a false positive. ESET isn't a good antivirus software, and as a result marks things like FTP libraries as viruses. The most current releases of the APIs no longer use those DLLs though.
Pardon me lol ? ESET is one of the best if not the best, it holds the top position with Kaspersky and Bitdefender...
And no it doesn't do that with FTP libraries, it only does that with _your_ gmFTP dll, that's why I'm posting here...
To be honest you could have the better antivirus ever and still you gonna get this false positive **** all around. My game got rejected on dls*te (dunno if it's spam so i don't write it completely) because of a false positive of the gmzip extension. Yeah no other user had problems with it neither i neither noone on this forum or over the net except them. I told them that was a false positive provide them with all the documentation direct links to the official post here and still they refused. It's up to you to use it or not but you should get based on experience of the majority of the users (seeing noone reported nothing like a virus so far) too before trusting completly in that report. You know in this community something like soft with virus wouldn't be allowed and by know would be removed. But is still here and now has +1 year old. But as a i said this is just my opinion it's up to you to use it or not.
@luke *still waiting for In-Game Purchases and MMORPG Functions* xD

It's not my DLL, but it makes sense why it marks it as a false positive. It connects to a server and transfers files.
If you don't want to use GMechanism for that reason, I don't blame you - but 2,000+ other users haven't had any problem with it.
