Post Simple Sprite Requests Here

23 February 2006 - 12:35 PM

Thought I'd help out the community in the graphics department and dedicate a few hours of my time every now and again. As long as you follow these few basic rules are requirements, then you will be added to the list. First can I stress that I will be doing SIMPLE sprite requests. That means a maximum of 32x32, but that also depends on what angle you want the sprite from aswell. Top down, I may be a bit more leniant. I may do small animated sprites aswell/tilesets. As long as they fit into the SIMPLE catergory. So something with 4/5 shades and about 32x32 would be great.

You need to include this in your post-
1.Sprite Size
2.A clear description. Possible a reference picture if necessary.
3.Colours?
4.Animated?

I will only be doing a few sprites at a time from each person. So listing 100 sprites won't make it get done any quicker. I'll be doing a few sprites from each person and then moving on. Thanks for reading (If you actually did)

The transparency doesn't seem to be working. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Please read what was posted above as it was for a reason. To reduce confusion and for me to actually know what you want.

STORY
A terrorist organisation located on a deserted island  have given the world an ultimatium. Pay them one billion dollars or they will
launch there secret super weapon. What the super weapon is we don't know, but we are taking no precautions.
Sources tell us they have hostages on the island aswell so keep an eye out, we don't want any  casualties.
We'll send in backup once you give us some feedback on the situation. Now find that super secret weapon and destroy it. Good luck!

INFO
Created in three weeks for a competition. After you defeat the final boss, that is the end. I didn't get time to create an end scene or any more
stages. The game may contain bugs as this is the first version released to the public. I may update the game with more
levels and bugfixes if I get a good response to the game. email me dead_heat@hotmail.com to report bugs and tell me what you think of the game.

CHEATS
To activate cheat mode, download the latest version(which you probably have)and press C when the game first starts up and it says Deadheat Interactive presents. "Cheat" will appear down the bottom, then simply just write:
*Highlight the area to read the cheats!
To startoff with 10 lives write-
gimmelives
To start off with your gun fully upgraded-
gimmelvl
Press ENTER to activate then and a sound will go off if you have entered then correctly. Press SPACE to progress.
NOTE: You can't enter your score to the online table as your cheating obviously:P But you will be able to see the cool bosses later on in the game and hopefully pass it!

Enemie Variation

05 November 2005 - 04:28 AM

Ok well, when I play a game I think that enemie variation is a major aspect of any action game. I don't want to be blasting the same enemie through the game, or even blasting the same enemie who's holding a different gun gets boring after a while.
I like enemie variation, ones that jump around, hang onto walls or charge up there highpowered laser and blast away.
Whats everyone's concept on enemie variation and please post some enemies that you would like to see in a platform action/shooter?
