### Rpg-stats

04 July 2009 - 10:00 AM

Have calculated a simple way of using basic RPG-Stats. But what I now lack is the following:

1) How to implement and use Physical and Magical Armor?
2) How to implement and use Magical and Melee Defence?
3) How to grow stats with level (from the beginning stats amount)?

I'd like this as simple as possible, what I have came up with so far, listed below, is simple !

STATS:

Strength - Melee Attack power
Dexterity - Max HP
Intelligence - Max MP
Wisdom - Magic Damage

USAGE OF STATS:

STR
Example: Strength = 10
Melee Damage in fight = Basic Damage (say... 20) + Strength = 30 damage

DXT
Example: Dexterity = 10
Max Health = Basic (say... 50) + Dexterity = Maximum 60 Health

INT
Example: Intelligence = 10
Max MP = Basic (say... 50) + Intelligence = Maximum 60 MP

WIS
Example: Wisdom = 10
Magical Damage in fight = Basic Damage (say... 20) + Wisdom = 30 magical damage

### Rpg-games!

07 June 2009 - 03:45 PM

I have been using gm for very long, and have hard time to be more than a novice user.

I have several times tried to make an rpg but ALWAYS fail since I dont know how to make a
stats-system (how to level, make mobs easier when higher level and all that stuff)   .

Any1 could advice me if there is an ex-the-reeeemely easy way to do this   ?
This would help my dream come true   !

Thanks!

### Two Objects Colliding

16 November 2008 - 03:38 PM

If say... Object1 collides with another Object1, how do I create a new object (for example Object2) at that collision positíon? Just typing coords Object1.x & Object1.y always creates the instance at another "pre-defined" Object1 !

### Need Walking Anim...

13 July 2008 - 11:56 AM

Hello everybody!

Could someone please make a walking-animation (three frames ([left leg fw & right leg bw],[both legs straight],[opposite from the first frame]))   !?

The guy looks like this:

Perhaps someone could make a shooting-animation too? On the picture, both arms are straight down, but perhaps if he could lift one of his arms holding a gun!?

### Top-view Horror-game

07 July 2008 - 06:33 AM

I will make a top-view horror game "The Thing" style (empty antarctic base with strange white aliens running around)   .

So I'd need some graphics for this game (the author will get in-game credits):

#1:
Type: Human Male Player
View: Top-view
Direction: Only one of four (NSEW) directions necessary, must be able to rotate
Size: Pretty "half-big", for example 64x64 pixels
Animation: Three-frame-walking (left leg forward, both legs straight, right leg forward)
Colors: Dark somewhat dirty with fully covering clothes.

#2:
Type: Enemy Alien
View: Top-view
Direction: Only one of four (NSEW) directions necessary, must be able to rotate
Size: Pretty "half-big", for example 64x64 pixels
Animation: Three-frame-walking (left leg forward, both legs straight, right leg forward)
Colors: Light white skin (perhaps somewhat light grey mixed with wite)

This is all for now!
