Help With My Flamethrower

ok guys i have a flamethrower and i already have it where when i shoot it the bar goes down but when it runs out the flamethrower is still usable even though it has no fuel left
i took the bar thing from the street racer thing that came with game maker and put it in to my flamethrower and i have gm 7.0 pro please help :)

ok after Master Pobble-Wobble help me fix my last problem i went to work on my game but now i need to know how to make my map  1920 by 1080 but only have a 800 by 600 view that follows my character around....any suggestions ?

ok im making for my church lol its like an rpg kinda thing....umm what it is it is like a over top view kinda thing and i can walk up and down left and right but i put some walls in and i made a event like when my character touches the wall it stops...ok well i walk left and touch the wall then go up or down i cant move it.....it looks like my arm is stuck in the wall...can someone help me please?
