Anybody else here a fan of the Megaman games? My all-time favorite personally is Megaman X 4: did you know that its PC version actually runs flawlessly on my x64 Vista install?

Sound Problem

Whenever I try to play a sound, the game lags up (for like 10 fps) and the sound doesn't play until the "event" it's supposed to be triggered in is completely done (hard to explain, but sometimes it doesn't do it at all). During the sound play process, ffdshow opens up it's audio decoder. How do I fix this?
