I'm having these same problems
when I start GM HTML5 i get an 'Invalid Pointer Operation' system error, the I get the same 5piceIDE.exe errors as the original poster did.

I tried those things with the regedit but still the same.

Can any more help can be provided please?

Indeed. The file WebTest.js is not found in the html5game sub-directory. This is a pretty good reason for a game not to work at all.

okay that makes sense, but why would gamemaker not just put it somehwere easy whenre i can see it.. pffft argh! lol Ill have a look.

I didnt get a .js file from gamemaker...

Im kind of noobish at web stuff, but I thought all i needed was the index.html file gamemaker produced for me along with all the folders. Are you talking about the .exe?
