It's funny, a unique concept, and a well-done engine. The one thing I had a problem with was having to wait for the pearls to fall from the sky, while the route to the next one was destroyed. Also the pearls seemed really difficult to dodge. Maybe that's just me, though. I suck at platformers.
Keep it up!

"Smarter"? What a lie.

It doesn't get "smarter". It gets faster and shoots more often, yes. But smarter? Never. You didn't even make it "smart" enough to stay on-screen, or to track the opponent's motion pattern. The same trick works on it every time - weave, get up close, and shoot while it follows its predictable and badly made movement pattern.

This is a good example of the easiest way out - making AI that "cheats" rather than relying on skill - the easy way out, taken by lazy programmers. The AI does absolutely nothing one would expect from a "smart" AI. Please do not put completely fabricated claims such as "gets smarter with every shot" in your opening post.

Glad to help. What kind of thing do you need now? I could do maps, NPC/location design, etc. since you don't have much about the world in the OP.

By the way, you might want to update the OP with a "what I need" list as well as codeboxing the classes and monsters and stuff.

Wow. I am absolutely blown away. The game was absolutely stellar, and a blast to play - definitely a unique shot at the space RTS genre. The graphics were astronomical, but the gameplay was what really shone.

...Yes, I wrote that whole paragraph just so I could use as many tangentially space- and/or shooting-related words as possible. But seriously, excellent game. The idea of modules is one I haven't seen in any game so far. It definitely adds another layer of depth and realism to the game. I love the graphical style, and the parallax scrolling combined with such detailed background makes me want to weep for joy (then again, I'm a sucker for parallax scrolling). (QUOTABLE!) All in all, a very fun game, although it ran a bit slow on my computer, but that's acceptable.

Keep going! Or I will personally extract your soul and feed on your sufferings. Good luck!

As an addendum, I did get one minor error:

ERROR in
action number 1
of Draw Event
for object ctr_GUI:

Trying to use non-existing surface.

Oh well. It runs like a slug with surfaces on anyway. you should make a .ini file so that it will preserve your "options" settings through multiple sessions. That's my only gripe.

I hope there are designated PK areas, because it would be a huge pain to be able to be killed anywhere. Trust me, people are taking advantage of this. Plus, you should make it so that only people with PvP turned on can be killed. Otherwise, providing benefits for PKing will be too attractive. Also 5000 seems way too hard to reach. Try 1000.

Lukasaurus, Forest Mage and company: Yes, this game will be difficult to complete. I'm sure that kr_default knew that when he started it. So please don't post such pointless, obnoxious, and unhelpful comments. This is not a topic to tell people that their game will never be completed. This is a topic to provide ideas for the game. If you are going to post in this topic, please try to be helpful in some way. Do you really think you are going to change his mind about it anyway? Or are you just trolling or something? Why don't you try some constructive criticism instead?
