To me, the character creation and origins in the first game was the deal sealer. But now I'm warily looking forward to the sequel's release, unsure if I'll want to shell out the 60$ for it. I've already been greatly disappointed by Final Fantasy XIII (though looking forward to Versus XIII) and don't want to go through that again.
What does the rest of the community think?

Trinity Tactics

"Trinity Tactics" is a large-scale Tactical RPG, reminscent of Final Fantasy Tactics and the Ogre games. It's still in the beginning stages of development, but the first Screenshots, and possibly even the first Demo, of the game should be drawing near.

Limit Breaks In An Online Game

I am currently making an online game similar to the original NES Final Fantasies (mainly Final Fantasy 3) and I've been working on the Battle System, which is turn-based. There is currently up to 4 Players in a party, each player has his own ATB bar, which generally fills within 3-5 seconds, so it's pretty fast-paced.
There is a "Limit Break / Overdrive" type system in it similar to Final Fantasy VII and X -- if you haven't played them, then what I mean is you have a bar that slowly fills when damaged, and once it's full you can use a stronger type of skill/magic. These skills are separated into three groups: the regular type "Overdrives" which drains the Limit bar; "Limit Breaks" you have to "break" the bar to use these skills -- to break it, you have to get dealt a lot of damage while the Limit bar is full; and the "Desperation Attacks" these are Overdrives and Limit Breaks that can only be used when your HP is pretty low.
Right now the Bar fills relatively slow, so a one-on-one battle against an enemy at your same level, taking up to 3 or 4 battles to fill. But seeing how slow it is, I feel I should have them quite powerful, but I don't want to overpower them because than when in a party of 4 with full limits some boss enemies might be too easy.
What are some ways that I can balance it out, while maintaining the FF feel?

Destroyers Online
These are desroyers on the top is the largest destroyer and a canvas version,
On the bottom is the smallest destroyer and a canvas version also next to that is the default cursor.
What I am asking is for the help of the graphics forum to help me create many armours and cursors,
all cursors must be just like an alpha like the one shown above (the cursor alpha in the picture above does need inverting.) please specify if the cursor should spin,
I also need spells as shown below is the burn spell
Please spam me with these spells and the names, effect and skill needed if you like
This game is in the coding stages once at a certain level of complete-ness I will request of someone to turn it MMORPG.

also if anyone would like I now have the histrory of the Destroyers
please note the logic behind this is fictional and Sci-Fi do not believe or trust any possible information from the following storyThe origin of the Destroyers is a long story,
to begin I will have to make clear that time runs in a loop but little differences each time can break the loop for a while,
the difference in this loop was a fourth kind of radiation created by cutting electrons.
The electrons being cut gave the atoms and molecules containing them to lose continuous amouts of energy,
though a reaction did not take place. this led to energy floating around in air.
although this is also the characterstics of another radiation the difference here was that the electrons gave off smaller electrons that could attach to anything.
this stopped the end and rebirth of the universe as it was origionaly caused by 10 suns all spontaniously running out of electrons and expanding expanensionaly.
with the new mini electrons traveling at uncalcuable speeds and even though it defied the laws of physics seemed to have no maximum velocity,
the suns never ran out of electrons as they stick to anything they can and apon contact with more electrons they overcharge and split that electron,
this means a never ending cycle began. obviously this threw and sentiant planets into chaos! yet earth the starteer of this catastrefy began to evolve rapidly.
the carbon based life forms covering the planet evolved in 100 years at an amazing speed.
at that point the crisis was over all sentiant planets had died due to panic, war and radiation related death. although the one planet to evolve, erth, had survived,
the manic polution of the planet gave vast ammounts of the planet electrons to spare this is what allowed the evolution to take place regardless of the radiation.
with the new forms many species struggld and so they continued to evolve. humans were cursed as the only life form to keep its inteligence, carbon and physical struture throughout the crisis,
perhaps cursed for destroying near all sentiant life.
the destroyers are desendants of the scorpion, they're venom carried too many electrons and became a hazard to them they're chemical and biological structure was immediatly re-written,
right from the start of the crisis.they're shells rearanged and reshaped rapidly. they nearly became humanoid but the venoms pouch / the end of the tail took the place of the head.
the head didn't keep they're inteligence but did keep they're new source of defense. the electrons are constantly gathered and stored insid of they're "heads" and can be released to create strong atmospheric effects,
they can transport mater by taking 2 sets of electrons and taking advantage of they're great speed and they can light the atmosphere to great heats oviously dangerous to oposing species.
as for the name the destroyers are so named as they threw over human control and became the superior species they obliderated all signs of human dominance and let the world begin again,
the humans still remain in small pockets of resistance. they have obtained pure whit, black and red skin from this tradegy. and have tartd trying to gain dominance once more will they prevail...

140+ C = name in the intro and credits under people who I couldn't make this game without
250+ C = name in any colour you wish
credit trades, with these you get rid of your credits for special permisions
1 enemy named by you 60 C if you made the enemy then naming it will only cost 20 C
1 spell named by you 60 C if you made the spell then naming it will only cost 30 C
1 map area named by you (area name on a sign) 120 C
