wow, that is some scary ****. Keep us informed as to what happens, eh?
**update on my experience**
I updated my Tardis Sounds app and at first, I got a Compile Failure.. couldn't find the Keystore. granted, it was right there, and said it saw it ok, but I hit the button validate anyway, and it said ok (I also was ready to re-copy my emergency keystore back to the location it wanted again, but it turned out that step wasn't necessary) .. then I resaved and recompiled. This time it did ok, and so I uploaded it to Google... and I had no issue.
So perhaps, maybe go back, recheck the keystore validate button, even though it may say "it's ok" (maybe just a verification glitch?) and try re-uploading it to Google?
I re-installed GameMaker:Studio last night to Version 1.1.416. This morning I made a tweak to an app so I could update it on PlayStore. The build failed on both, running it only on an Android device and Creating an Application. Grr ...
C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\GameMaker-Studio\Android\runner
C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\GameMaker-Studio
Both of the folders contained my Keystore and everything looked okay. I then copied my from backup, into the two folders and then tried again. It worked !
I am not fully sure, but somewhere along the line the Keystore Files were either, corrupted or not being read correctly.
It all works now, thankfully !

The game looks fantastic, wish I had a device to play it on though
The game is available on the PC as well : Office Worker for the PC
The HTML5 version is still pretty much work in progress, hopefully I will be able to get it running soon.
