Foreword
As stated in the description, Legends of Reucondea is my second project (I'm still working on my first project as well) and it's made in 3D using Ultimate 3D. Level one, the only thing there, may seem a little weird, but it's actually intended to be this way. The storyline and the name of the characters will be explained fully in the third mission, but, for now, you'll see a text cutscene (you'll be able to move around still, but your actions will not affect anything. Think like the Xbox game: "The Darkness"), but you won't understand what's going on; this is intended. The game will be multi-genre, even though, right now, you'll only be playing as an FPS.
A pal of mind at school and I are working on the game. He makes the storyline, characters, and attacks, I do the programming. His name is Reuel, so a lot of the characters have 'Reu-' in their names (thus explaining the name, "Reucondea").
Missions
Every time the game is updated, so will this area. I will explain each of the missions. An asterisk is put next to each done mission. So far 9 missions have been planned, but, for now, I'll only mention the first two.
*Mission 1: The starting mission of the game. You play as an unidentified man with a laser gun with his two brothers. You'll explore a rather simple maze. (BTW:If you want to get to the final room to fight the boss, you have to take a path with Blueish-lava (the Lava won't hurt you). When you get in the final room, you'll fight a giant snake (who'll come in later in the storyline) To beat it, you have to shoot laser at it. After the cutscene, you have to lure the snake to a small Blueish-Lava pool at the front of the room.
Mission 2: After Mission 1, a young boy and his mother are targeted by an evil organization. This stage is planned to have two parts: one will fight like an two-player fighting game and the other will be a race in a city filled with cars and buildings.
File info
File type: EXE made with GM7. You can play unless you have anything lower than Windows NT.
File Size: 14mb. It loads fast because all the files are externally loaded.
Features
-Fully third-dimensional using Ultimate3d. Ultimate3d, itself, has a good boat-load of features that I hope to use.
-Fast loading, because files are externally loaded, including music (because I used Fmod through SXMS)
-Cutscenes (I'll be real now. Right now the, the cutscene isn't very impressive as it's just text, but fully animated 3d cutscenes are planned for later. )
-Multi-Genre (Each level will have a different Genre).
-Joypad Rumbling is planned.
-Auto-healing (no respawning) and disappearing health bars. Each time you get hit, they reappear and then slowly disappear.
BUGS
Thankfully, the game doesn't have many bugs.
-When pausing, the picture of when you paused previously will be shown instead.
-If you stand sideways in a wall, it'll push you backwards.
-Sometimes, you need to move near the enemy's character model for laser collisions to work.
Screenshots and Downloads
Please note that the nozzle of the gun isn't in the middle of the screen like that, but when the images get wrapped (when they were taken) the gun nozzle gets pushed to the middle of the screen.

Megaman Revolutions

<span style=font-size:14pt;line-height:100%>Megaman Revolutions</span>
FileSize (25 Mb)
GM Version: (Exe in GM7) so everyone can play unless you have 98.
Screen Resolution: Doesn't change
Changes Screen Resolution: No
Megaman Revolution is a Megaman fangame featuring the original Megaman storyline, but from the very beginning. Currently I have the game planned as a six-part series so that I can actually compress the whole Megaman saga (which last too long) to only vital points. While the game does follow the original storyline, there are parts that deviate from the storyline spoiler:(in fact, Wily dies in the beta, in stead of lasting for 10 games) so you can expect a different last boss fight (which is planned to be like something never attempted in Megaman before). Here is a list of features and bugs. If you download, please leave a comment and how you liked the game, bugs you detected, and how I can help you.

Cool Particles effects courtesy of Gamecaves productions.
-this includes: Awesome boss explosions and general explosions,
cool snow and star effects where applicable and lasers.
Engine that lives up to the Megaman experience, save a few bugs.
Ability to steal bosss powers as always.
all 8 stages to choose from thus far as well as 3 intermediary stage (that take place after every two bosses) featuring the death of Dr.Wily so you wont have to worry about him anymore..
Bugs: Sometimes boss powers don't work as intended and they're pretty much useless right now. Which is why youll find to boss power system isn't all that great.
Coldman acts berserk (So I had to accommodate this into the storyline).
Sloping doesn't work in Coldman's stage so just jump around (that's what I did and I actually got past it).
As always, why would you download a game without screenshots? Watch these screenshots and see if you wanna play for yourself. Screenshots are a little old. I'll update them soon.

Here's the odd part. This game supports gamepad rumbling effects, but not the gamepad itself. I found a very good program that is better than anything I could have designed, small in size, and runs without using too much ram (still in the kilobytes).
Download it here: Joystick Program
Also, Gmbed is back: Play online
BTW:If you're wondering why the file size is so big, it's because I used external MP3 files.

Beyblade Soundtrack
30 July 2006 - 09:25 PM
I have a simple question: where can I find beyblade soundtracks (Switchblade, etc,)? I've been searching the web for a while and couldn't find any. Help would be appreciated.
