I very much enjoy many aspects of Computing. Obviously I enjoy gaming, having owned a Mega Drive, Playstation, Gamecube, and XBox 360, in addition to a slew of handhelds and a lot of PC Strategy Games (I tend to get addicted to Civ IV). I do enjoy other aspects of Computing though. Database Programming in SQL, from what I've learnt, is enjoyable, and I find Computer Architecture aspects, such as Memory Hierarchy and Instruction Set Architecture, interesting even if I'm not particularly adept at them! I especially find Intermediate Code generation using TAC quite enjoyable (in the context of Compilers).
I'm still fairly new to Programming, although I would say I've probably just reached beyond Novice level. I have some experience in C and C++, having created a text based Battleships game in C++. I also have experience in Java and the Eclipse IDE, and have also programmed Breakout for an Android Mobile Device in Java. I have explored a little bit of Python too, and am still learning that (that's my new language to learn!). I'd say GML is certainly the easiest language I've been learning so far though!
Other interests of mine are History, Politics, and drinking.
