Given that we live in a deterministic universe, everything that will ever happen in the universe is already certain.
This means that if you studied the state of all the particles currently in existence very closely, you would be able to know everything that will ever happen in the future.
Now, let's say that there was someone that was so smart that he could do this. He could slow down his perception of time enough to study everything happening right now with all the atoms in existence. He would be a "god", you could say, because he would know everything that would ever happen, at any time.
This means many things. This means that he could write a book about someone's life before that person has ever been born.
Now, what if that person reads the book of his own life? When he flips to the page of the current moment and reads ahead, what exactly will happen? And remember that, given that we live in a deterministic universe, this is actually possible!
So, the main concern here is this. If he reads ahead and decides NOT to do what the book says, what will happen? Will it be like in Homestuck, where he does what the book says anyway, against his will? Or will it make some sort of time paradox or something?
...I hope that made sense. Thoughts?
