My Brain Is Exploding

28 March 2013 - 04:23 AM

Given that we live in a deterministic universe, everything that will ever happen in the universe is already certain.

This means that if you studied the state of all the particles currently in existence very closely, you would be able to know everything that will ever happen in the future.

Now, let's say that there was someone that was so smart that he could do this. He could slow down his perception of time enough to study everything happening right now with all the atoms in existence. He would be a "god", you could say, because he would know everything that would ever happen, at any time.

This means many things. This means that he could write a book about someone's life before that person has ever been born.

Now, what if that person reads the book of his own life? When he flips to the page of the current moment and reads ahead, what exactly will happen? And remember that, given that we live in a deterministic universe, this is actually possible!

So, the main concern here is this. If he reads ahead and decides NOT to do what the book says, what will happen? Will it be like in Homestuck, where he does what the book says anyway, against his will? Or will it make some sort of time paradox or something?

...I hope that made sense. Thoughts?

Race Blast

13 March 2013 - 02:55 AM

Race Blast is a very fun two-player racing game!

The two players are "Mr. Red" and "Dr. Blue" who are in a dispute about who should be the king of the world. It includes four unique worlds to race in, each with nine levels. There are also twelve different items you can use to help you out, and possibly hinder the other player. The stages have many obstacles on them too, so to win you should try to use them to your advantage!

The races are all very short and crazy. The controls are extremely easy and simple, so anyone can play this game easily.

This is a two player game using one keyboard, so make sure you have someone to play with. I know most people don't have others to play with, so I don't expect many people to play this. It was a fun coding experience anyway, so I don't really care tongue.gif

I suggest someone leave a sandbox rating, so it isn't just zero like it is now,

Welcome to Mouse Of Fate: An RPG. This is a completely normal RPG that will be very fun. Also, it might not be an RPG. Hopefully, it will. But be warned. It might not be.

The Story

You and a few of your friends (the players) have been locked up inside some sort of huge house. You do not know how to get out. The only thing to do now is to explore this house! But you soon realize that your friends may not be willing to help you explore after all. In fact, your goal is to obtain a higher score than them, using Light and Dark points! Do you think you can use the house to obtain more points? Let's find out!!

The Rules

0. Upon entering "The House", players must choose to be a Light or a Dark player.

1. Your Light and Dark values control your score, depending on which side you are playing on (light or dark).

3. Try to raise your score.

4. You may enter no more than one room on your turn.

5. Play this like you would any RPG.
