you could basically add a variable that defines WHEN the character is off the ground so that fall damage is encountered unlawfully.

what kind of game will it be?
3D, 2.5D, 2D? top-down tower defense?? what type enemy???!!!!

my AI can do the following: (in a numerical order)
  • it can see you even though it is looking the other way
  • it'll go nuts and start running after you, when you are already spotted
  • after it catches you, it'll crash the game immensely!
  • make you scream at it for doing the last 3 steps

In certain situations you might want to paint not directly on the screen but on a canvas that can then later be used to paint things on the screen.

got that from the manual about surfaces...
you know that could be useful if it is faster. :/
