Why not record using GML? In theory, if you capture an image each step, the lag can't be seen in the final video. You'd only need to find a program to compile a video from a set of images.

exactly. just take a screenshot every step and then put it in movie maker (or a better program if you have one). Then record the audio while you're playing the game.

Many people barely have enough time to play all the games, so if you have to install every game you play, it ends up being very time consuming, and it becomes harder to review all games

Really!? It takes a few seconds to install and uninstall. If every game used an installer, I reckon I could install them all in 10 minutes and uninstall them all in the same amount of time.

Anyway, I don't think we should make it a rule. If you guys don't like 'em then I think they should just be discouraged, not banned.


Well it depends. My computer really isn't that fast, so maybe that's why it bothers me a bit but doesn't bother other people. but anyways, I think it should at least be discouraged like you said, since it makes you waste a bit more time.
