Looking for some help getting the engine for my game perfected, particularly controls and battle system (TMNT Arcade type controls).

As you can see the character has a hard time punching or kicking while facing left. I'd also like the ability to do kicks while jumping (similar to TMNT Arcade), & some simple skateboarding controls if the player buys a skateboard (a gliding motion and an ollie to replace "jump").

This game will be distributed free online to help promote a cartoon band type project I'm working on. In exchange I'd be glad to offer help with graphics or audio as well as credits in the game.
