Hey, this is for a platformer.


Around 180 pixels by 240 pixels (that's a verticle picture)

It's a side view of person, mainly outline, arms, legs, face, and colouration has to be done, custom clothes will be done by me

It's sorta like Maple Story, except less.... anime-ish. More realistic, yet not REAL realistic...

If possible, I'd like a walking animation, also a slashing of an invisible sword... and, if it's not too much trouble, an animation holding a gun would be nice... just the walking needs to be a good quality, rest so-so

A good reference for this is Maple Story, a little more realistic, still sorta anime-ish... Just on the border between real and anime.

It should have a light skintone.



Hope that isn't too much, but at least you have MS as a referance. However, it has to be original. I will credit you.

I've been trying to find a good host for my banner, while keeping it free. I've tried imageshack and imagehosting, two major sites, but it doen't load half the time once I put it in my sig. It's only 44 kb .jpg. What are the best, quickest hosts that work in the gamemaker forums?

Is there a .dll to minimize the window to the windows task bar, so that it doesn't appear anywhere on the screen or as an open program? I already tried one, but it strangely dissapeared from the task bar every time i moused over it.

Hi, I really need a logo. Well, here's the description...

There's two ghosts, one repreasenting the evil darkness (red eyes) and one repreasenting the pure white life force (large-ish, orange eyes) that are coming together in the middle, a fusion of light and dark. They are, in fact, fusing together in a swirl sort of motion. The light ghost glows radiently, while the dark ghost glows slightly. The background is very dreary, as evil darkness is taking over the land. The dark ghost, however, should have a blue-ish glow (very slight) that seperates him from the evil darkness in the background. There is absolutely no text on this logo.

I am going to add text myself later. The text looks like this, and the logo will have to be able to fit in with this slightly creepy style:


The two ghosts should actually 'look' like they are fusing together into one. I hope this all makes sense.


PS. If you read through all that, give yourself a pat on the back!


*edit* I forgot to mention, the size should be 350 pixels high, 700 pixels wide.

Make sure to read the instructions, as the controls are different from most other top-down space shooters (one key, remember )

Version 5 has several updates.

A major update for this version is that online mode actually connects! Also, the IP address will now work even behind routers (if proper ports are open).

Also, bombs work better, a few speed improvements have been made, and configuration settings from the main menu are saved!
