Topics I've Started

Top down multiplayer shooter sprites.

18 September 2011 - 07:24 AM

If I may make a few requests as well.

I would love for these to be animated with moving and attacking frames - I can do the rotations with code so it only needs to face up.
I also don't mind paying a few bucks a sprite depending on how they turn out. I am putting collisions into the server tonight/tomorrow plan to have a client moving around tomorrow/Monday give or take a couple days as I start my new job Tuesday. These are only guidelines on the sprites you can make them slightly bigger if need be by a maximum of 16 pixels each. Please make X == Y dimension-wise as I am using a circle as a collision detection. Bitmaps would be great, but I can make png or whatever else work as well.

Sprites I would like to have for a Top down multiplayer shooter.

What You Need: A small spider the more fear invoking the better as they are planned to erupt from dead bodies/coccuns during the game. Think hatchling.

Outline Colour: Not required
Any More Info: Think of aliens where the little critter pops out of that person's stomach, now think 4 - 6 spiders popping out and crawling at you. ===================================================================================================
What You Need: A larger spider again something that looks creepy and makes children cry would do the trick.
Sizes: Probably 32x32 - big enough to pose a threat to a person one on one.
Colour: Use same color scheme as on smaller spider...

What You Need: A person with hands in front of them like they are holding a gun. If you can do them holding a few different weapons that would be great if not just leave space to blit a gun in there later.
Sizes: Probably 32x32 or 48x48
Colour: Character(s) can be any colors you like the code supports 32bit color depth by all means use it.

Any More Info: These will be normal people you would talk to in a town/city. A couple dead bodies would be a nice touch these may be bigger than the 32x32 or 48x48 as they are on the ground.

Pay scale will depend on the artist - I don't mind discussing rates, but keep in mind this is just my hobby I don't plan to mass produce it nor do I plan to charge monthly fees or anything else. All graphics must be royalty free, credits will go to the artists in the game. If you have questions or need clarifaction please ask away. These are for a game that I have been writing from scratch in C++ so there will be more requests later on.
