I think we should stop worrying about the rules. I guess yoyo will be pretty loose with 'em in the end anyways.

I have a concern about platformers in the contest. Of course we can make platformers, but we can't really have an action button. On a keyboard, you can use up arrow as a jump key, but on the PSP the game might not be quite playable.

I guess I shouln't really care about gamepad support, since the PC version can allow user to set arrow key as another key, but it would actually make a bad PSP game.

What you guys making platformers think about this? Anyone making platformers with more than a jump key?

I've thought about the exact same thing. But a PSP has more than one action button, so the jump key could be replaced by that extra one. Then the problem would be solved.

Although if in the menu you had up and down to select (or some other thing similar to a menu), you don't want to have to press an action key to go up.
There'd have to be a little more re-programming if the winners are running on a handheld.

Yup. I wonder what yoyo is going to do about that?!

Really, so many members in the community already act superior to everyone else; why rank them and give them an extra reason to do so?

Because this community grows, and I am starting to get troubles remembering which members I should take serious :)
