Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum, I don't know were this topic would go. And I don't know alot about ini files.
I was thinking about something, what if you can send ini files over the internet, and over to other players? Ok, so its like this: When you start a multiplayer game, the game create an ini file of your name, your character, and your position. Then that ini file, or the info on that file, goes to the server that's running the game. Then, the server would store all the info on the players. And then the server would send all the info to each of the players so that you can see the position, the name, and the character of the player. Then the server will draw the players were they are. All im asking is if its possible. Because it would be a lot easier to create multiplayer games.
I was thinking of creating a side-view tower-defense game. Here's what I got so far.
-different players you can play as.
2) Machine Gun
3) MAW- monster assault weapon
4) MegPistol- shoots as fast as a machine gun
5) RoLaunch- shoots rocket grenades
2) The Plains
1) Zombie- comes to kill you, and your towers.
2) Ghost- stays hardly visible, goes to the end of the map, and attacks from the back.
3) Horde- only attacks your towers, and turns them against you.
I would like to know any more things I could use, and if you would like this kind of game.
