We've made some minor changes to the forum organization. The most important change is that Reviewer's Choice has been moved from the General category to the Community category. The reason is because Reviewer's Choice is very GM-specific, instead of being general in nature. And since it involves GMC members discussing games (mostly) by other GMC members, we felt it was a good fit to the Community category.
Conversely, Website Announcements has been moved to the General category. Very little discussion in that forum is related to GM -- or gaming, for that matter. It's mostly discussion about website design, website graphics, and website hosts -- so we felt it was a better fit to the General category.
We'll be making more forum changes later.

Previews of Upcoming Games - August 2010
02 August 2010 - 11:32 AM
This topic is a place for members to give us a glimpse into their upcoming projects.
The topic isn't meant for discussion, so please keep your description under ten words or so. Just show us some pictures or a video! (no more than 5 pictures please)
And remember: one post per game per month. We'll restart a new topic each month, so members can post updates if they're still working on the same game.
And please don't post about games already posted on the GMC or YYG, or post just to comment on someone's screenshot.

New YoYo Games Office
08 July 2010 - 11:06 PM
There's already a glog post about this here, but I thought it'd be fun to talk about it on the GMC too.
I'm happy to finally know who's been posting as "YoYo Games".
She's Kirsty, the YYG Community Manager.
And the new office looks great. Tons of room for new employees -- which I assume they'll be hiring.

Team Requests Forum
Members forming teams for GM projects may list the kind of skills they need. They may also announce their own "skills for hire".
Requests related to website building, distribution services, and non-GM projects are not allowed.
Rules and Guidelines
People judge you by your writing, so take time to post a well-written topic. These guidelines may help you:
- Describe your project, with information about the genre and any special features.
- List the team skills you need -- such as programmer, graphic artist, or music creator.
- Explain what work you will do yourself.
- Write clearly and use proper grammar and spelling.
Team Announcements
- Only ONE announcement per member is allowed. If you start a new project, edit your original topic and request a moderator bump after 30 days (see Updates below).
- Multiple announcements for the same team are NOT allowed, even if posted by different members.
Replying to Announcements
- No replies are allowed here. If you want to join a team, PM the team leader. Or mumble and rant in private.
Updates (bumping)
- Your announcement may be bumped by a moderator after 1 month. Use the Report Button to request a bump, or send brownies.
