I am a Kiwi who enjoys coming up with wild and wacky stories and characters. The culmination of this wild wackiness is PENS 3: TIDES OF WAR which tells a serious story without taking itself seriously one little bit. (The story is serious, but is told through a general blitz of one-liners.)
I've also experimented with stories that do take themselves seriously. This experiment in seriousness produced the dark and creepy SAVE MY SOUL: MASTER 2.
I taught myself how to use GameMaker, which is the reason my earliest games were ugly and littered with glitches. I've improved significantly since the release of the original PENS, which is evident in the remake, PENS: RELOADED. I enjoy experimenting, a fact proven with the varying play styles of my games.
My style is evident in all of my works, as even the serious stories still take a moment to tell a couple of mild jokes. It's inevitable... my humour will break through, even if it's only temporary and subtle.
My stories usually originate in peculiar situations. PENS was created when I removed the rubber pen grip off my pen and folded it in half during a science class. Other stories or characters originate in equally peculiar situations; the intentionally glitchy character Glitchy Mitchy in PENS 3 originated when I was lying in bed almost asleep and suddenly burst out laughing at the thought of a character walking backwards through a solid wall for whatever reason.
