Extensions

Hello All!
I had a question about the extensions option on the resource tree....where do we have to go to build the extension? I know it has places to place info but there is no place to do the actual work unless i am overlooking it....Can we still use the old one that was built for 8.0 to build .gex files or is this for other types?

So have they came up with a date yet that Gamemaker Studio will finally be released? I noticed that with the beta it doesnt let you export, you can only build the games.
