I'm looking for an AI system for a top down shooter. Basically it would need to have a sight range and be able to shoot at you if it saw you. If possible I would like it to have several levels of alert depending on whether they knew you were there.

I'm wondering how to make bullets appear as lines from the gun to the target as opposed to an actual bullet that moves across the screen. Any help is appreciated!!! :)
