Ping is actually the round-trip time, so you wouldn't divide by two.

Saying that you shouldn't worry about protecting your source files just becuase there is no threat against them yet is even worse than saying that you shouldn't bother get antivirus on your computer because you don't have a virus yet. If you don't take some preemptive actions, then if/when a decompiler does come out, you are screwed, period. All people would need is any build of the game made prior to you protecting it and they are all set.

But either way, I think it would probably be wise to keep detailed discussions of things like decompilers to a minimum here, as I'm sure the mods don't appreciate people talking about things that violate the terms of use. All I can say is that it really would be great to have a version of this obfuscator come out that supports GM8.

I personally have been having a lot of issues with softwrap ever since upgrading to Windows 7 (x64). My registration constantly resets itself then won't allow me to reactivate it until I contact support again (despite running it as administrator as it tells you to), among numerous other issues.

Just tried it on Vista 64 bit, and seems to work fine. As useful as this does seem, would you mind adding a description of how exactly this works and what it is that it is doing to free the memory?
