TThe Fantasy World Project (Name pending) was initially proposed to be a 3D RPG in the fictional/fantasy medieval times. This game will be built in Game Maker and Ultimate 3D. The story and idea so far is; You take the role of a hero who was sent to jail for 20 years, for a crime he never committed, and that crime was the murder of your father. You see, a long time ago, you were a lowly barman working in the inn named "Keen Owl's Tavern.". Just a mere man trying to afford to pay his family, but one day, mysterious men in cloaks ambushed the inn, people fled and surrendered in fear. All except one, and that one person was your father. He resisted the force of the bandits but his efforts were futile, he was brutally murder. Moments later the local guardsman arrived asking who was responsible for this tragic incident. The men in cloaks put on their innocent faces and framed you.
Now 11 years later, you must live the harsh and brutal times; prison fights and other unlawful habits. You are savagely beaten by the prisoners whom were once good friends of your father, the barman. With this circumstances, you are suffering a bad case of amnesia, so you don't remember anyone or anywhere. So you must re-life your past life, and find out where and who was responsible for the death of your father, and many other dark secrets and conspiracies, of the world.
Factions
* There are factions (sides) you can work for. These include;
1. The Alliance (The emporer and his elite group) and their sub factions. (Groups that are formed and are orded to do tasks by the emporer. You must help them
2. The Horde. (The evil one and his followers) and their sub factions (Unholy gatherings that perform summoning, assasanation and other evil tasks).
3. The Dwarven. (The last dwarfs that survived the last war. You will perform hunting tasks, drinking, travelling and collecting rare items.) There on the good side but don't have strong relations with the alliance.
4. The Sacred ones. (The sacred high elves who are on the good side but don't have strong relations with the alliance, they also know truths and history about he world.)
5. The neutral. (People who do not fit in with the above, there on there own side. These people are usually beasts, bandits, and the underwater guardians.)
Calling all modelers!
Currently we need as many experienced modelers as possible to tackle this big project. Models should be made in any program (except for any programs specifically designed for game maker,). The models should be in .3ds or .obj and compressed in a .zip package.
I need low poly versions (if possible) and medium poly ones (So when users tweak the settings, they can switch model detail). Models must be UV mapped and
with there textures. (Preferably 128x128, 256x256, 512x512 e.t.c.)
