Zombie Cataclysm, where your deepest nightmares come true! Well, perhaps not. :biggrin: Zombie Cataclysm is a zombie survival game with rather simple gameplay. You, the player, must use different weapons to combat the zombie apocalypse. Grenades, rifles, plasma rifles, and many other weapons. Weapons and characters can be bought using an in-game money system, adding something to work towards in the game. This game is still evolving heavily, with new weapons and characters being added frequently. If you want to get involved, check out the graphics topic.

Here's some of the features:

- Account system for saving stats and money.
- An in-game shop, for purchasing weapons and characters.
- Wide selection of player skins and weapons.
- Randomized system of zombie skins
- With time, a ZCDK (Zombie Cataclysm Software Devkit)
- Health, rage, and ammo bars.
- "Rage" mode - All attacks do double damage, and a red tint is placed over the screen.
- Hidden characters, available at the character select screen.
- Old movie effect on the main menu.
- Secondary melee attack for when zombies get too close.
- Working headshot functionality.
- And more!

Oi oi, GMC! I return with a request, graphics for another zombie shooter game. I have a segmented sprite sheet included, with colors to represent different body parts. This will be used with the SK2D Animation System to create a smooth system of survival graphics. These do not need to be finished by a specified date, nor am I in a severe need of sprites. Most, if not all, sprites will be placed into the game in some form or fashion. Most as playable character skins. Have fun with it. Characters can range to be anything from an average civilian to a high-tech, mercenary killing droid. Have fun with it. I'm eager to see what you guys come up with! Weapons can also be accepted, so have fun!

Skin submissions must be in this format:
Name: The name of your character or skin.
Bio: A background for your character. Around a paragraph or so.

Weapon submissions must look like this:
Name: The name of your weapon you're posting.
Bio: A paragraph of info describing your weapon. Yes, weapons have bios.
Behavior: Optional. How the weapon will behave. You can put in things like "Large kickback, shoots 5 high-damage bullets at a very fast speed".

Name: Mr. Zombie
Bio: Mr. Zombie wasn't always much of a brain eater. He could usually be seen straying from his zombie packs or fruitlessly attacking his fellow undead brethren. One day, Mr. Zombie decided that he wanted more than just brains. He wanted power, and he'd realized that he could only have this by isolating himself from the others. With a rifle in his hand, Mr. Zombie set out to kill and decapitate all who even dared to oppose him.

Programmers needed!


Hello. I have just joined the GMC, however I have experience with Game Maker. I'm currently in progress of developing a 2D DooM game. It's a platform-shooter, and I was hoping that somebody could help me make this a multiplayer game. Deathmatch would be a good start for a game mode, and then you can work around that. You use the mouse to aim, and click to shoot. If the mouse goes above his head and behind the player, he turns around. There is no need for left or right sprites, as direction is determined by the position of the mouse. Here's a screenshot of what I have so far:

As of right now, it's single player. I have jump pads, armor color, a working health system, lava pools, and the radiation suit. I thought that this would be a very cool idea for an online game, and I wish to make it happen. PM me if you are interested, or contact me with the information below:
