Hi, I'm sorry I feel really dumb asking this.

I can't seem to do it though.

I am trying to make it so the user can type and what they type appears on the screen (obviously) but I don't want a text box. I want them to type over a specific part of the rooms background.


Any ideas?

Hi sorry its been a while since I have used GML and i have forgotten how to do something!
I need to be able to click on an object have have it execute a program.

For example say the button says EMAIL
When i click it it would execute outlook from the desktop or from a different place such as C:\blah\out.exe
Nether the less  I just need it to make a program run from a click of a button.

I'm wondering how can i make it so when the user opens my thing and types it saves the keys he typed in a log. NOTE I mean when he types in my program not out side of it! No, its not a key logger Seriously!

If you feel I'm lieing just ask and I will explane what it is. But First, Is it even possible?

Hey I was wondering is it possible to make a thing with GM that gives u lets say 5 options each one opens a different exe....so could i make it so you chose a game and it opens it Yea yea theres other ways like making that game in it but I don't care cause I"M ASKING Can gm open exe's? And if so...how?

Sorry For this being my second topic but a lazy mod closed my last one....

Any who TO BE EXACT: I want it to be Buttons In MY GAME ROOM u click 1 2 3 and 4 each opening different exe's Also is it possable to put thoes exes in a folder and it still see them? Thanks
