Whoops, forgot to actually say how good the keyboard controls actually are.

I love the keyboard controls for each of the modes, easy to pick up, not complicated and doesn't hinder any kind of control compared to using the mouse.

Great game, this is the kind of thing I would buy as an iPhone app for $1-2

Thanks for the effort, but none of the keyboard controls are working for me. :P

In Slide/Shift/Twist Em the keyboard cursor-square starts off screen and doesn't line up properly with the squares. The space bar and "x" key do not appear to have any effect. (Screen 1)

In Flip Em, there are TWO keyboard cursors, and either one of them flips when I press the space bar. One of the cursors isn't lined up properly. (Screen 2)

In fact, I can even get the cursor to show up in the main menu. (Screen 3)

thanks! i will remember this whenever i need to use timelines!

No problem. Keep in mind this is just one of the many uses for them, I personally have experience using them for well scripted and custom timed cutscenes with dialog. I've also used them to plot out a very complicated boss fight. If theres any very long string of carefully timed events, timelines are your friend. If you need help, just ask, I'll be glad to help.

Getting the exact moments right wouldn't be too hard. For example, if there was an AHH was at 12.72 seconds, you would take your room speed (probably 30) and multipy the two numbers (12.72 x 30 = 382) and make a step in the timeline at that number.

I have tried running GM with Wine under Linux, and I abruptly conclude that GM will not work exceptionally well with Wine. I cannot get anything to display on the game screen when I try to run the games. According to WineHQ, GM 6.1 and 5.3A will work almost flawlessly (platinum): http://appdb.winehq....cation&iId=2965
You could use VirtualBox and get Windows XP, then run Game Maker in a VM running Windows.

Oh my god, this looks beautiful...

Will post back with results.

May I ask why you aren't using GM4Mac?
