===[DESCRIPTION]===
This was for a school project which I plan to continue and publish. I followed the Game Maker tutorial for a scrolling shooter, 1945. Here are some differences from 1945. The player takes control of an Eagle space fighter and engages in battle with a variety of enemies from a mysterious armed group. There will be 3 modes: Campaign, Survival and Co-op.
==[GAME MODES]===
Campaign- Pursue the plot in the story mode. Boss encounters will be inevitable. The player also uses points earned to purchase upgrades and weapons at the end of each mission.
Survival- A simple scoring mode, play for a high score. Upgrades only come in the form of randomly dropped power ups. Enemies randomly spawn.
Co-op- Two players can play co operatively against enemies, same as survival mode with the added twist of another player. Once again upgrades only come in the form of randomly dropped power ups and enemies randomly spawn. (On top of the map of course)
===[WEAPONS]===
There are currently 3 primary weapons and 3 secondary weapons. Primary weapons have unlimited ammo but are rather basic.
Secondary weapons have cool downs of various time frames depending on the weapon type.
The current primary weapons are:
Beam Projector- Versatile weapon, high spread
Phase Cannon- High powered, low fire rate
Plasma Blaster- High rate of fire, low damage
Secondary weapons:
Frag Missile- slow moving, medium power
Anti Material Gun- Medium speed, High power
Vortex Disruptor- Slows down targets, fast moving
