code folding is used in many IDE's and for once, i dont think yoyogames can use their excuse about cross-platform in order not to implement this. such a basic feature for the api should be implemeted, it does make it a lot easier to navigate code, espetially when coding very complex algorithms. most people dont agree it is a crucial implementation but most GM users dont have too much programming experience (hence they use gamemaker), but for the people who are more ambitious with GM and who make bigger projects, its not always possible to use multiple dragged code in each events, and longer strands of code with numerous amounts of if, switch and for statements are used, making it a lot harder to follow.

many games use .bik format videos in order to achieve a hud display of the charcter, such as in starcraft, where you see an animated face of each unit (not sure if starcraft uses .bik, but a quite a few do).
it would be very nice to be able to implement something simmilar, like HD sprites that would allow for less feature, but could display an HD loop with increased performance.

it seems to me like yyg is trying to move away from the easy way outs, making gmk a more professional solution.
the problems with prefab scripts like high scores is that it make all the games look the same, and isnt very good looking; branding all gmk games.
honestly, making a hight score table is quite an easy job, and if you arnt able to make one without the use of the drag and dro features, you should start learning some more. programming is not an easy thing, you need to learn a lot before your able to make something substantial.

will there be any support for skeletal animation? or will we have to implement it ourselves with costly scripts?
