NOTE -- I am now currently involved with a project and have plenty of work to do on it, so for now I'm not interested in taking on new projects.
I'm looking for a programmer who would be interested in collaborating on a project. I've been spriting for 2-3 years, and have been previously involved with a couple of GM projects. I am interested in working with someone who is willing and able to commit to a project. As I'm sure a lot of you have, I've had many experiences with partners abandoning projects, and I've even slacked on a few myself. I consider work ethic and communication to be critical to success in working on a project with another person. That being said, I think the greatest value of working with someone else is mutual encouragement; working on a project alone can be much harder and less interesting.
I would be happy working with a wide range of programming skill levels. It is not, for example, particularly important to be an adept online coder (though of course this is always an asset). I think we can adapt a given project to be challenging for both of us, but remain feasible without becoming dull, formulaic, or otherwise not worth making. As for the project itself, I'm relatively open. I've worked on a variety of games, and I'd be happy to discuss just about any ideas you have. I have a couple ideas of my own as well. While I am willing to consider getting involved with a larger project, I'd like to discuss it at length before we dive in. I'm comfortable using skype, email, or MSN to communicate. My primary objective is to complete something enjoyable to play and enjoyable to make. If you're interested, feel free to send me a PM.
Here are a couple of my sprites from the past year or so. Some of them are much older than others. In numerical order, they are: Some icons for a topdown shooter, WIP progression for an iso character, iso slopes of a mountain, an iso water tile, some iso buildings, an old tree sprite, a very old soldier and RPG sprite, some ancient top-down sprites, monster images for a GB game, iso grass and various slopes, an old RPG tree sprite, and a top-down environment.
