Pilot (v3.1)

17 December 2006 - 09:32 AM

Pilot is a space shooter I've been working on for a while.
It has 10 missions and 5 enemy types, and you can choose from 6 different ships, with their own stats and abilities

Size: 5mb zipped

I've tested this game, and I've found no bugs, but some people have, so before you play make sure:
- you've extracted the game
- you've got a decent graphics card capable of using GM6.1's surfaces

Also here are my pc specs:

1.60Ghz processor
1GB Ram
256mb Nvidia 6 graphics card

Note: To view the controls, press F1 during gameplay, but here they are as well:

Controls:

Menu
Arrow keys: make selection
Enter: confirm selection

Ingame
Left and right arrow keys: rotate ship
Up arrow and down arrow: forward/reverse thrusters
Space: fire bullets
Enter: get pass mission failed/mission success
Escape: Retrurn to main menu

Button Basher

06 August 2006 - 02:14 PM

One day I made this little minigame called button basher, (quite recently actually), but after only spending a day making it I realised this game could go so much further. So with some tinkering and major improvement I'm going to show you my current version of the game, (its not complete because I have alot more to add to it...)

This version (which I call v3...) contains:
- The normal, unchanged, (gameplay wise) 1p mode
- A new harder 1p mode (faster, with 12 keys...)
- A 2 player mode
- External music (which means you can change the midis)
- External backgrounds (again you can changr the backgrounds)

Game info:
Name: Button Basher
Size: 1.2mb (zipped)
Made with: GM6
Genre: Arcade
Version: 3

OPTIONAL DOWNLOAD:
because the game is modifyable, I have created some theme packs that you might like, (I assure you these backgrounds are nicer than the current ones, (i reccomend the mario one...)

I currently have two complete theme packs:
Street Fighter:

Mario:

I also have this simple background pack which make the backroung look nicer:

I hope you enjoy the demo...

I Need Voice Acting

05 August 2006 - 08:08 PM

Well when I say voice acting I really want you to say 5 words. It might not make much sense at the moment, but all will come clear soon.
This is for a game which is on the Completed game section here, but this version sucks. If you want the really good version look here:
http://gamemakergame...showtopic=21784

(I completed the game, but I decided to drag it back and remake it into something good...)
Basically all I want you to say is:
'left'
'right'
'up'
'down'
'space'
Thats it!! Really simple, but it has to be in a .wav format and it must be clear and concise, ok. I would do it myself but I don't have a microphone...
I don't mind what the voice is, because I might make voice packs on top of the game, and use different voices for different mods/themes...
I'm going to give credit, (i'll make some kind of fast scrolling credit screen when you exit the game...or something in the readme file...)

I Need A Bubble Sprite

05 August 2006 - 02:05 PM

Okay, I want to work on a new project, but I can't seem to be able to drawn a bubble sprite. I only need one because I can recolour+scale it.
It needs to be slightly blue in colour and 128x128.
I'm going to give credit if you make one I like.
so thanks in advance...

Button Basher

31 July 2006 - 03:36 PM

Button basher is my first completed game (not really much of an accomplishment since it took a day to make), and it involves pressing the key that shows up on the screen as much as possible, until it dissappears and another key reappears, press too many wrong key and its game over. Sounds easy doesn't it, but the thing is the game slowly gets faster and faster, giving you less time to mash that key before another one appears.

Okay, here's a challenge:
can you beat my TITANIC score of:
496!!

If you can then you are really good!!

Not really a hard score to beat but its the best I can do...

The game is 1mb so the download is small... (in comparisson to some games with lets say... 100mb+ file)

If you pm me with your best score and a screenshot with proof then I'll add it to this top 10 list:

          Top 10
1. Me               496
2. yo1dog        108
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

( I tried to add online highscore to the game, but I failed miserably at it)
