turning heads

i have a 'body' sprite and 'head' sprite, how can i turn the head( say to look towards where the mouse is) but no more or less then 90 degrees to the body's angle ?

time functions with time,date, year

nothing really intresting. just time functions on a screen with no boarder but you can still drag the screen about. im sure itwill help some one out

Hi i know this has been asked before but for the life of me i could not find it, so here is my problem.When i ether use ctrl-c or the ingame copy, then paste i lose all the transparentcy..

this is what the sprite should look like

as you can see what was ment to be transparent has turned black.. has any one any ideas why this happens and how to fix it.. i have already reinstalled it three times so that wont fix the problem.

Moving single letters about

I cant seem to get my head round how to do this so im on here asking for help.

Here is what i want to do. I have a string( lets say 'paul') i have spilt it into single letters so that i can take the vowls out and move them around. So 'paul' would look like this

au
pl

and 'browser' would look like;

oe
brwsr . can any one give me some pointers in the right direction please

ok if the user input a string ( say a name 'paul'). Is it possible to read the string letter for letter.
i.e 'p' 'a' 'u' 'l' ?

lol and yes its an is it possible question.Not a i need help (well not yet anyway lol )
