Talin Eques

13 January 2012 - 10:23 PM

Hi,
My team Magic Productions is working on a game called "Talin Eques" And we are in need of sprites, tilesets and so on!
The game is a Top Down RPG, set in the Medieval times, below are some images.

Sprites:
Torch, 48x48
Lamppost, 64x64
Head (Facing right), 30x30
Body (Facing right), 32x64
Arms (Facing right, animated), some size that fits the body
Legs (Facing right, animated), some size that fits the body
Tiles and etc.
Dirt, 128x128
Stone, 128x128
Wood, 128x128
Grass (Half transparent so it can stack on any material), 64x64
Dirt road (Tileset), every part of it should be 32x32
Stone road (Tileset), every part of it should be 32x32
Transitions between dirt, stone and wood
Grass transition
A roof of a house, 640x640
House walls (tileset), every part should be 32x32

Okay, I understand that the sprite list isn't 'detailed' but that is why I am leading it up to you, to decide on what style the sprites are in!

Now, for the point system:
When a sprite or tileset is made I will give points. Points do add up, and if somebody gets to 100 Points, well congratulations!

5+ You will get your name in the end credits under 'Special Thanks'
10+Your name will be included near the start of the end credits as if you were one of the team members.
20+You will be allowed to name an item in the game!
30+You will have a character named after you!
40+You will have a place which you can name!
50+ If somebody reaches this, PM me. I will give you multiple options.

So, yes I know.. The point system isn't spectacular, but it may be changed depending if what you want is acceptable!

NOTE: Some questions will be answered by the member 'NicroGames'...
Thanks,
Ratchet22

Untitled Game
Made By Magic Producions

Hi All, I am Ratchet22 leader of Magic Productions.
Currently the team only consists of two members myself, (Who does planning, a bit of spriting...) And my programmer Nicro.
We have a project in planned, which can be described as a game with elements from Grand Theft Auto and Assassin's Creed.
Of course; the game will be Top Down.

Email: magicproductionsgames@gmail.com

Features:

 Advanced AI
 Different events in day/night
 Rich and poor people (killing rich people make you more wanted and gives you  more reputation than killing poor people)
 Big world separated into rooms
 Hiding/sneaking
 Quests, but you can play without (they will give a story)
 A place to live and customize things and a stable with horses and such…
 Jobs to do.
 A currency.
 Shops.
 Guards.
 Villages, towns and wastelands.
 Realistic/Cartoonish

But, onto the positions:

Programmer

*Must have advanced experience and be confident with programming elements of a TDS Game.
*This includes Advanced AI, The ability to program dialogue and any of the other features that fit into the 'programming' category.

*Has to have Game Maker 8 Pro or higher... If for some reason you do not, feel free to write the code on Notepad, I am quite sure Nicro would be happy to add it into the game.

*Examples of work is a must, if your example is good of course you will be on the team, if your example isn't 'good' there is a lower chance you will not be on the team.

Spriters:

*Must have advanced knowledge of spriting programs.
*Has to be able to sprite in a style that is realistic/cartoonish.

*Anything listed in the features that fits into the sprites category you have to be able to do.

*Feel free to use any program to sprite, just send the sprites via email.

*Example of previous work is a must!

Sound And SFX

*Must be advanced/intermediate in sound composing, and sound effects.
*Can use any program, make files as small as possible (If possible at all...)

*Style of music is unknown, please do provide examples of work.

Email is preferred, but sending me a message on the GMC is fine as well.

Of course, there are other positions that I may have missed out on... But PM me or Email me if you think you could fit one of those positions.

Thanks,
Ratchet22
